Bacteriostatic water is a sterile, non-pyrogenic preparation of water for injection containing 0.9% (v/v) benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth, allowing the solution to be used for multiple entries over a defined period when handled under aseptic conditions.
This product is intended for use as a reconstitution diluent for lyophilised peptide compounds in laboratory research settings. The 3ml volume is suitable for single-vial reconstitution applications where smaller volumes are preferred.
Storage: Store at room temperature (15-25C). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Discard any unused portion after 28 days from first puncture.
