What are your products used for?
All products sold by Obsidian Sciences are supplied strictly for legitimate in-vitro research purposes. We do not sell products for human or animal consumption.
Do your products come with a Certificate of Analysis?
Yes. Every compound we supply is accompanied by an independent third-party Certificate of Analysis (CoA) confirming identity, purity, and composition. CoAs are available to download from each product page.
How are your peptides stored and shipped?
Our peptides are supplied in lyophilised (freeze-dried) form for maximum stability. Orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 in discreet, unbranded packaging. Once received, store peptides in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reconstituted peptides should be refrigerated.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Pay by Bank (instant open banking payments) and cryptocurrency (USDT/USDC). A 5% discount is automatically applied at checkout when paying with crypto. We do not currently accept card payments.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Free delivery is available on all orders over £50. All UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail with full tracking.
Do you ship internationally?
No. We currently ship to UK addresses only.
Can I return my order?
Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on opened or reconstituted items. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours at [email protected] with photographs and your order number.
What is bacteriostatic water?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth. It is used for the reconstitution of lyophilised peptide compounds in research settings.
Do your peptides contain mannitol?
Yes. Our peptides contain trace amounts of mannitol, a sugar alcohol used during synthesis to improve stability, prevent aggregation, and enhance the handling properties of lyophilised powders.
What happens after I make a payment?
Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an order confirmation email. Your order will be prepared and dispatched within 1–2 working days via Royal Mail with full tracking. You’ll receive a dispatch notification with your tracking details once your order has been shipped.
How should I store reconstituted peptides?
Reconstituted peptides should be stored at 2–8°C (refrigerated) and used within a reasonable timeframe. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Keep all compounds sealed and away from direct light.
Who can purchase from Obsidian Sciences?
All purchasers must confirm they are over 18 and acquiring products for legitimate in-vitro research purposes. A qualification acknowledgement is required before accessing the site, and a mandatory confirmation checkbox must be completed at checkout.
